Foodware next step in automation strategy Dutch Bakery

Dutch Bakery

Dutch Bakery B.V. in Waalwijk is specialized in producing various frozen, refrigerated and oxygen-poor packaged savory snacks. The wide assortment is sold to major retailers in The Netherlands and abroad. Recently Dutch Bakery acquired the bake-off division from Bakkersland. In order to maintain the control of the business processes of these production locations and to exclude double administrations, Dutch Bakery replaces the current software systems with Microsoft Dynamics combined with Foodware of Schouw Informatisering.

The possibilities of this food specific ERP system perfectly fits in the automation strategy of Dutch Bakery according to General Manager Jefrem Schapendonk: ‘We wanted to have the possibility to implement the same ERP solution later on in the other subsidiaries. That is possible with Foodware and Schouw as a partner.’

Structure and consistency in the information and processes

Besides, Dutch Bakery wanted to bring structure and consistency in the information and processes. ‘We were looking for one solution with all business processes integrated. Since all the data is offered in one solution, process information is better available and we have stronger possibilities to control. This means we can operate more efficiently and report in a uniform way’, says Jefrem Schapendonk.
