Peka Kroef chooses Schouw Informatisering as Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner:
To help further streamline the business processes, upgrade the software and to reduce the amount of software customization
Etten-Leur - Peka Kroef B.V. wants to further streamline its business processes and one of the ways of doing this will be to reduce the amount of inflexible customization in the current information systems. Peka Kroef invited Schouw Informatisering to identify the opportunities for simplifying their information systems in a simulation. As Microsoft Business Solutions Gold certified partner, Schouw Informatisering has developed SI Foodware®, which can be implemented and maintained as standard software. The simulation showed that SI Foodware together with the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics® NAV can provide sufficient support for Peka Kroef’s business processes. The processes which are not covered by the standard software can be catered for by developing just a few customer specific solutions. Peka Kroef has now decided to upgrade its Dynamics NAV software and to implement SI Foodware and has commissioned Schouw Informatisering to carry out this work.
Peka Kroef is a Dutch organization with offices in the larger West European countries. It was established in 1970 from the wholesale company founded by Piet Kroef and has since developed into a flourishing organization with 180 employees. Peka Kroef supplies vacuum packed potato and vegetable products to the European salad and ready-to-eat meals industry. Peka Kroef also manufactures an extensive range of potato products, marketed under the name "Peka Freshline", specially designed for the Fruit & Vegetable sector, the hotel and catering industry, caterers and large kitchens. In 1999 Peka Kroef entered the European retail sector with the new product range of cooked gas flushed potatoes sold under the brand name "PomNaturel".
