ExSION
Description
This training explains how the user can create reports from the Microsoft Dynamics® NAV database, using Microsoft Excel 2003/2007 and ExSION. ExSION offers users of Dynamics NAV the opportunity to create reports from Dynamics NAV, using Excel. ExSION takes care of a realtime connection with the database and facilitates the communication to the Dynamics NAV environment.
Goal
During this training, you will be introduced to the reporting tool ExSION. This tool is especially developed to retrieve data from the Dynamics NAV database in a structured way. After this training, you are able to:
- Work more efficient with Excel;
- Work more efficient with Dynamics NAV;
- Develop reports, built from multiple tables;
- Configure new ExSION-functions;
- Configure dynamics reports.

Target Group
This training is mainly focussing at those employees who are responsible for the technical build of reports in ExSION. Besides, this training is also useful for those employees that are working on defining and building reports, in order to get insight in the possibilities of ExSION.
Required knowledge and experience
Basic knowledge and understanding of the elements of Dynamics NAV, Excel and Excel-functions.
This training is not taken into account in our training schedule, but is given on an own database and location of the customer. Besides, the exercises are adjusted to you wishes, which enables you directly to create useful reports by the end of the day.
Training duration and tariff
1 day, €1.400,00 per training with a maximum amount of six persons attending the training.
