Production
Description
In this training, you are introduced to the setup and use of Production and Capacity Planning in Microsoft Dynamics® NAV. The participant learns how the necessary data for production can be stored and taken care of. This applies to, for example: production articles, product contents, machine centers and machine plans. Besides the storage of the basic data, creating and processing a production order takes a central place. Every step of the production process is described in detail. Examples are booking used materials and hours, and booking the result of a production order.
Goal
In this training, all elements of Dynamics NAV are discussed, which are applicable to the setup of the product administration, in order for you to own all the knowledge, insight and skills to:
- Take decisions about the setup and usage of the product administration;
- Advice about the setup and usage of the product administration;
- Use all elements involved;
- List all activities of the automating project, which are applicable to production.
Topics
In this training, the participant will learn the following:
- Production BOM's;
- Production orders;
- During the training, production planning is a topic to be discussed. The participant will learn to generate a production advice for end products but also to generate a derived calculation for;
- Finally, capacity planning is discussed. The participant learns to determine the work load of a Machine Center and to generate a task overview per Machine Center.
Target group
The training is focusing on persons which are responsible for the setup and the use of the production administration, or have an advising role about the setup and use of the production administration.
