CSM Bakery Supplies Europe and Schouw Informatisering roll out the CSM Kernel System in the Netherlands and in England
Etten-Leur, 11 November 2003 - Schouw Informatisering has developed the CSM Kernel system on behalf of CSM Bakery Supplies Europe. This kernel is based on Microsoft® Business Solutions-Navision® and Schouw Informatisering sector specific solutions. The specially developed Kernel will be implemented in different CSM operating companies in many European countries, including the Netherlands, England and Portugal. The projects at Arkady Craigmillar (England) and Carels in Goes, the Netherlands have already begun.
There are a number of special features in the Kernel, the most important being that the Kernel can cope with multi-site logistics. For CSM this means that the subsidiary companies can be grouped into different logistics divisions. The second important feature is the Schouw Informatisering sector specific solutions for quality management (QA & QC) and product specifications which can be considered as rather special in this manufacturing environment, where the requirements of the General Food Law are already taken into consideration. Another important aspect is the extensive functionality for production planning, procurement for production and product costing.
CSM Bakery Supplies Europe has 22 operating companies, located in 16 European countries. This CSM division is specialised in the development, production and sales of an extensive product range of ingredients and products for professional bakers and the bake-off business in Europe.
Schouw Informatisering develops, sells, implements and maintains integrated company-wide software. Company-wide software for the automation of business processes and information flows, from administration to logistics. Schouw Informatisering's clients are mainly medium to large sized organisations with a clear vision for the future, and are usually operating in the food industry.
