Astenhof chooses Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SI Foodware

Etten-Leur, 2  May 2004 - Poultry slaughterhouse Astenhof in Veghel, the Netherlands, has signed a contract for the automation of its business processes with Microsoft DynamicsTM NAV and SI Foodware® with Schouw Informatisering as partner for the implementation. Astenhof has also commissioned I.T. Plus to provide support and assistance during the implementation. Poultry slaughterhouse Astenhof is a subsidiary of Coöperatie Cehave Landbouwbelang, one of the largest mixed feed companies in Europe. 


As poultry slaughterhouse Astenhof specialises in chicken and turkey products. With about 700 employees in Asten in the Netherlands and Hainspitz in Germany, Astenhof processes and sells more than 67 million broilers per annum. As Microsoft Gold Certified Business Solutions Partner, Schouw Informatisering is specialised in the automation of manufacturing and wholesale organisations in the food industry. Astenhof wants to move to an integrated software solution which offers long-term continuity for all the relevant business processes. Schouw Informatisering suggested using Dynamics NAV in combination with SI Foodware.
