Schrijvershof selects Schouw Informatisering to implement IT solutions for the fruit & vegetable business
Etten-Leur, 12th of November 2004 - The fruit & vegetable products wholesaler Schrijvershof has engaged Schouw Informatisering to carry out an upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV 3.01 to 3.70, and at the same time to implement SI Foodware®, the standard software for Food & Beverage developed by Schouw informatisering. Schrijvershof has worked with Dynamics NAV since 2001, but missed some customisation of the software for their specific fruit & vegetable business processes, such as for the product batch administration.
Besides SI Foodware- Lot Administration with its specific sign-off and settlement methods, SI Foodware also takes care of Packaging and Pallet Registration, and the Purchasing and Sales Administration now supports the generation of forecasts, complaints records, telephone ordering lists and price lists.
Schrijvershof is based in Oud-Beijerland, where for three generations it has been a byname for fruit & vegetables. Schrijvershof started as a grower, but soon moved to the retail trade. The intervening years have seen not only a growth in the number of sales outlets, but also the expansion from the retail to the wholesale trade.
