Schouw Informatisering takes over Building IT:
"Together we are market leader and super specialist in the automation of Food & Beverage companies"
Etten-Leur, 19th of April 2005 - Schouw Informatisering and Building IT Solutions are now one organisation. An organisation which concentrates entirely on the automation of business processes for commercial and manufacturing organisations in the Food & Beverage sector. With the acquisition of all the shares, Building IT is now officially a subsidiary of Schouw Informatisering. This acquisition has various advantages for clients of both companies: besides the continuity of the software solutions offered and the expansion of knowledge of the sector, Schouw Informatisering is now able to offer broader expertise in the area of network infrastructures.
Schouw Informatisering was established seven years ago and is a Microsoft Gold Certified Business Solutions Partner for the Food & Beverage sector. Schouw Informatisering has gained many satisfied clients with its constant focus on this sector and the development of sector specific software solutions. John Schouw, director of Schouw Informatisering: "The most important reason for the acquisition is that because of the successful growth of Schouw Informatisering we have a shortage of experienced consultants and project leaders. Building IT can compliment our skills, because it remains difficult to find well trained people with experience in implementing ERP systems in the food industry." John Schouw adds: "Perhaps Schouw sets high standards, but by holding on to our level of quality we can guarantee successful ERP projects. Building IT employs professionals with many years of experience with ERP implementations in the Food & Beverage sector. Together we are not only market leader in this sector, but we are also the super specialist."
Tjeu van der Cruijsen, founder of Building IT Solutions, has been active as a software consultant in the food sector for more than 30 years, spending the last 17 years as owner and director. Tjeu van der Cruijsen has the following reasons for the take-over: "Instead of continuing to invest in the modernisation and expansion of our own application FOOD/400®, I made contact with the most important Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner specialised in food, Schouw Informatisering. I then went on to suggest that we bundle our carefully built up expertise in the food sector into one organisation and in the long term to combine them into one product." After the take-over, Tjeu van der Cruijsen will still be involved as a member of the Schouw Informatisering management team.
Together, Schouw Informatisering and Building IT expect to realise a turnover of more than 10 million euro this year. At the moment, Schouw Informatisering employs more than 65 staff. All clients have been informed about the new situation and we will discuss with each client how we can best support their needs in the future. Our first and foremost concern is the continuity of the existing software solutions.
