Schouw Informatisering supports Liliane Fonds

Financial gift for Kenyan children

Etten-Leur, 19-01-2012 - For the third consecutive year Schouw Informatisering has granted the Liliane Fonds a financial donation. This donation will once again contribute to the great help that the Liliane Fonds offers to Kenyan youth with a handicap. A cause that CEO John Schouw of Schouw Informatisering feels connected to: "I am pleased to help the Liliane Fonds. They fight for an extremely important cause and deserve all the help that they can get". This donation will be well spend according to Els Pluymers of the Liliane Fonds: "With this financial aid we were able to help 116 children in Kenya."

Beatrice Chepkemoi is one of the 116 Kenyan children that has benefited from this gift. She was born with several limb derogations and was not able to walk. In 2002 she underwent chirurgical treatment for her legs.  Her left leg was clinically removed from the knee down. Now she is able to walk with a prosthesis and her right leg is supported by an adjusted shoe. All of this was made possible by the Liliane Fonds.

East Africa remains a troubled area. The disabled are often neglected in a society where everybody has to look out for their selves in order to survive. They are the weakest group in the most distressed area of the world. They need to be helped. Please visit www.lilianefonds.nl and find out how you can help this unfortunate group.
