SI Foodware receives quality certification ’certified for Dynamics’
First food and beverage add-on worldwide, certified by Microsoft
Etten-Leur, June 24, 2008 - Microsoft partner Schouw Informatisering has received the highest possible quality certification from Microsoft, for its add-on SI Foodware, the solution for the food and beverage branch. ‘We are very proud with this certification.’ Danny Cevaal, Manager R&D at Schouw Informatisering explains the goal of the certification: ‘The "Certified for Dynamics" quality certification is an important guide in choosing a Microsoft partner and solution for companies. Solutions with this quality certification are able to deliver the most added value and the highest returns.
Quality certification
Currently, there is a huge growth in add-on’s for Microsoft Dynamics. By using a quality certification, Microsoft wants to distinguish this add-on’s. A Microsoft partner cannot just receive the quality certification but its add-on has to be tested by the independent organization VeriTest. First off all, the solution needs to be able to work on the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics. Furthermore, VeriTest checks if the add-on satisfies the requirements of Microsoft regarding quality, information exchange and compatibility. Furthermore, the partner needs to satisfy a number of marketing related conditions.
SI Foodware
Schouw Informatisering has automated a large number of food and beverage organizations. As a result, Schouw owns a lot of knowledge and experience, but also a wide assortment of food and beverage functionalities. The best practices of these functionalities have been merged to as standard, branch specific solution, SI Foodware. These functionalities have been tested extensively and are used by a large base of food and beverage companies on a daily base. Worldwide
Now that SI Foodware is Certified for Dynamics, Schouw Informatisering wants to distribute the solution worldwide. At this moment, SI Foodware is being offered in Belgium, through Strategic IT, the subsidiary of Schouw Informatisering Netherlands. Besides, partnerships have been set up with Microsoft partners in France and Portugal and SI Foodware has been implemented in a number of European countries. ‘With the quality certification "Certified for Dynamics", we will focus on an active distribution of SI Foodware worldwide,’ according to Cevaal.
