Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV partner Strategic IT proves itself in Belgium.

Berchem, May 31st 2007 - vendor of company wide software for the food and beverage industry Strategic IT can, after more than a year, say that they have been growing. In March 2006, Schouw Informatisering, the largest Microsoft Business Solutions partner for the food and beverage industry, set her first step over the borders by opening a subsidiary in Berchem, Belgium. By the physical presence in Belgium, Strategic IT wants to serve its Belgium customers directly with a team of Belgian consultants. After the creation, last year, the personnel file of Strategic IT has strongly increased and various customers have signed contracts for implementations.
European expansion
Leo van Bochove, managing director of Strategic IT explains: ‘realising company improvements at food and beverage companies are both our passion and our profession. We are sure that our knowledge and experience with IT solutions in this industry can mean a lot for the Belgian food and beverage too. Besides, the subsidiary in Berchem is the first step towards European expansion.' Strategic IT distinguishes itself from other ERP supplies, based on a number of elements.
Knowledge and experience of the food and beverage industry
Strategic IT uses the industry knowledge and experience of its initiator, Schouw Informatisering, who already did more than 120 implementations in the various sub industry of the food and beverage industries. The people at Schouw Informatisering have a strong affinity with the food and beverage industry. The are focussing on specific sub branches inside the industry, for example meat or fruit and vegetables. In this way, the solution is becoming more industry specific. Throughout the years, Schouw Informatisering has been developing a result oriented approach, the Schouw methodology. By using this methodology, Strategic IT can ensure that a project stays controllable and understandable.
Strategic IT is also able to use the newest technologies from Microsoft, due to the fact that they are a Microsoft Certified Partner. Microsoft is investing millions towards the development of its products, and therefore also in the Dynamics NAV. Besides, Strategic IT is an Independent Software Ventor (ISV), which enables you to buy all your solutions at one vendor. This results in an extensively tested, fully integrated solution which is easy to install. In other words: at Strategic IT, you purchase both Dynamics NAV and SI Foodware, which results in a standard company oriented solution with specific requirements for the food and beverage industry. A standard solution which suits like a tailor made suit.
The team
By now, the team in Belgium consists of five people. The latest addition to the team has been Mr. Gert Verhaert (gverhaert@strategicit.be) in the role of account manager. Gert Verhaert has entered strategic IT since April 2007 and has more than 10 years of sales experience in the ICT branche. ‘Strategic IT has the mission to take care of company improvements for European food and beverage companies. Projects
Strategic IT has various Belgian customers. For example, there are customers from the fruit and vegetables, dairy products and meat industry.
