At Schouw Informatisering, we understand that you, in case you purchase your software, want a continuity insurance for this solution. Therefore, Schouw Informatisering offers a continuity insurance for the add-on SI Foodware®, by enabling its customers to sign an Escrow agreement at Escrow Europe. With this agreement, customers are always guaranteed that, in case it is necessary, they are able to access the source code and the development license of SI Foodware. In this way, you will be able to develop SI Foodware on your own.

‘Every now and then, new customers ask us if it is possible to sign an Escrow agreement’, tells Danny Cevaal, CTO at Schouw Informatisering. ‘with this agreement we can ensure that, in case we stop to exist, you can have access to the source code and the development license of SI Foodware’. If SI Foodware is purchased, the buyer is not becoming the owner of the software. Danny Cevaal explains it: ‘As a user, you only buy the right to use the software through so called license costs. You have no access to the source code and are not able to make changes in SI Foodware on your own.
Escrow Europe
Since 1989, Escrow Europe is an independent, international Escrow Agent specialized in Escrow agreements for software an additional services. A part of the additional services is the technical verification of the source code. Therefore, Schouw Informatisering has delivered the source code of SI Foodware, together with the technical documentation. The goal of this deliverance is to deliver continuity to you with using SI Foodware.
